Parish Steering Committee - Parish Council
Work in cooperation with the pastor in establishing goals, objectives and action steps to guide regular parish life.
Ladies’ Sodality
Strives to promote fellowship among the members and encourage active participation in parish ministries and activities. Sponsors fund-raisers to help with special projects and parish expenses and contributes to charities. Open to all women of the Parish who are 18 years or older. This group meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Men’s Club
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Men’s Club is an organization open to all men of the parish over the age of 18 years. The Men’s Club is both a service and social organization. This group meets the second Thursday of each month at 8:00 p.m.
Sunshine Club
Members who are 55 years or older who enjoy socializing with current and past parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary. Meetings are held the second Monday of the month from April – November, weather permitting, at 12 noon in the Rectory Meeting Room.
Knights of Columbus – Ladies’ Auxiliary
The fraternal benefit society organized by Father Michael J. McGivney begun in 1882. Its members, and the members of the Ladies’ Auxiliary seek to offer mutual aid to their members and families as well as to participate in the charitable works of the Church throughout the world.
Boy Scouts
An organization that provides a proven program for building character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Boy Scouting is for boys 11-17 years of age.
Cub Scouts
A family-oriented program designed specifically to address the needs of boys in 1st-5th Grade or 7-10 years old through the ideals of the Boy Scout movement.
Venturers
Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 years of age or 13 years of age and have completed the eighth grade and under 21 years of age. Venturing’s purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
Game Day
Meets on the first Thursday of each month from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Game Day promotes conversation, friendships and mind enrichment. Mental activity such as socializing and playing games can help keep your mind sharp. All are welcome.
Balance Class
A weekly class that meets at 9:00 a.m. on Friday mornings that promotes fitness and well-being.
Exercise Class
A group that meets on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:30-11:00 a.m. that promotes fitness and well-being.
Chair Yoga
A weekly class that meets from 8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday mornings that promotes fitness and well-being.
Parish Festival
Organizes an annual event for the parish to bring us together for fellowship, food and fun that is open to the wider community.
Garden Club
Volunteers who help keep the parish grounds looking its best.
Quilters
Ladies who enjoy socializing while working on quilts. Some do embroidery and binding at home. All proceeds are donated to the parish. This group meets Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Rectory Meeting Room.
Saturday Suppers & Fish Fry’s
Along with fish fry’s on certain Fridays of Lent, the Saturday Suppers are parish gatherings which include a “themed” meal in an effort to promote parish community.
